Customer Requirement:
Our customer needed a solution to cut holes in 5mm stainless steel plates burr-free using compressed air, while seamlessly integrating he machine into their moving assembly line. Key requirements included parametric ositions of the holes on the sheet, scratch-free handling, high throughput with minimal load/unload time, and the ability to handle plates with slight size variations (±2mm) while maintaining cutting accuracy of ±0.1mm from the plate edge.
Our Solution
To address these needs, we delivered a customised1515 3KW system with:
- Roller Bed with Stops: Designed for easy loading, with a height aligned to the assembly line for a smooth in/out process.
- Open-Side Loading and Unloading: With side brush strips to prevent scratches during handling.
- Vision System: Automatically offsets cuts from the plate edge for precise placement. (Parametric system)
- Pneumatic Clamps: Ensuring secure and accurate plate positioning.
- 16-bar 4-in-1 Air Compressor: Providing constant, dry compressed air for burr-free cutting.
